Welcome to our website! We are Alex and Heather Armour who moved to Spain in 2005. Following a long and at times frustrating search for a country house we decided to set up this website to help other people searching for their Andalucian dream. Our aim is to take a “fresh view” and offer something genuinely different:
 Fillers
We were dragged round some pretty dire properties. Most agents have a few good houses and a lot of dross and are keen to show you both; we see a hundreds of properties but only include the best 30% or so on the site to keep the quality levels up.
 “Fresh properties”
We got tired of seeing the same type of properties with the English agents from the coast who didn’t really know the inland areas. To get some fresh properties we have avoided the coast and driven all around central Andalucia even to areas virtually unkown to British buyers.
 Tricks of the trade
Most of the agents we used couldn’t resist using the old estate agent’s bag of tricks e.g. dodgy details, dragging you round properties you haven’t asked to see, ignoring key requirements or putting enticing deals on their sites which mysteriously disappear when you show up. We have established a Code of Conduct mainly to stop time being wasted (yours and ours!)
